Your human body is sensitive beyond belief (referring to the
belief that there are only five senses). The concept that we perceive
information only through our eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin limits our
perceptions of our vastly rich world. Just as sound waves, smells and tastes
exist but are imperceptible to our eyes, there is much more information transmitted
energetically between us.This energy is call subtle energy, or psychic energy.
It is finer, lighter and of a faster vibrational level beyond the range of which our five senses are designed to
perceive.There are infinite levels of vibration at which energy can exist. Your body already has several psychic
senses to detect or perceive these energies. Everyone has “extra sensory perception.” It is not limited to a few,
special people. Again, it is the belief that there are only five senses that is one of the factors that “limits” you.
You already are psychic. If you have ever noticed that you
feel more comfortable, or safer, around certain people whom you know, and
uncomfortable around others, then your psychic “energy detectors” are working
well. Your body is feeling the other person’s energy. On a physical level,
each of your internal organs can feel this energy. On an energetic level, it is your chakras
through which you pick up on the energies around you. There are seven major chakras located along
the spine, from the first chakra at the base of your spine, up to the seventh
chakra at the top of your head. Each of these chakras is fine tuned to perceive energy.
For example, the sixth chakra in the center of your head perceives
“mental image pictures” and is the seat of your clairvoyance. Your second chakra, located just below your
naval, is the seat of your clairsentience. Clairsentience is your psychic ability to feel what other people are
feeling. Sensitive people whose chakras are too wide open often feel bombarded and overwhelmed. Closing down
your chakras too much because of pain or invalidation is the same thing as turning down your energy.
You become less aware of energy that might be affecting you. You can learn how to open
and close your chakras to the appropriate levels in regards to the current
situation you are in. Learning how to open and close (i.e., control) your own energy is one of the first steps in
developing your psychic awareness.
Your chakras are part of your spiritual energy and information. Whether you interpret
“spiritual” as being a spirit expressing through a body, or as a deep sense of
purpose and aliveness, or as your ability to be creative, keeping your chakras
balanced helps to keep you healthy and happy.
